Nokia Kinetic 1

These days, several concept phones are hitting the market on a frequent basis. However not all the concepts that hit the market turn into realities. The Nokia Kinetic 1 is a concept phone designed by Jeremy Innes Hopkins and the phone is known to work on the rule of kinetic energy. According to the designer, the idea is known as ingenious.

The phone is designed with a minimalistic approach and the looks are lucrative and eye-catching. Surprisingly, this concept phone bounces back as soon as it receives a message or a call. In case if the user does not want to check the message or receive the call, the user can tap back and the call will be automatically disconnected. The phone will rest back into the landscape position. The whole concept is based on the principle of energy and there is an implicit magnet at the bottom of the phone. This magnet will change the gravity of the phone as soon as it receives a call or the message. The whole concept is designed in such a way that it is unique and will prove to be a winner in the market.

The phone looks stylish and sleek, with a mirrored display. There is a camera located at the back with a keypad, speakers, USB port and many more. The upper part of the phone is about 8mm thick whereas the bottom part is around 18mm thick. There are metal bezels situated at the top of both sides. At the moment, the concept phone is designed in black and we can only hope it makes a reality very soon.

2011 New Windows Mobile Phone

With the advancements in telecommunications and electronics, there is a transformation in the way people communicate. The computer, which used to be an immobile and a bulky device, is now incorporated into a Smartphone, with the help of mobile operating systems such as the Windows phone. More than the basic communication needs, the mobile devices use intelligent computing systems.

The older Windows phone was solely created for the enterprise market. However, the users can now enjoy the advanced features of this mobile platform. Earlier, the Windows phone was referred to as the Windows 7 Series. The latest 2011 Windows phone comes with a user-friendly interface, which is developed with the use of the design language called “Metro”. With the help of this operating system, the users can smoothly navigate from one application to another, in consistent format and style.

Microsoft Corporation has now aimed for a semi-open development scheme, where the Windows phone operating system allows third-party services, created by individual developers. Obviously, the users will get to enjoy several pre-installed Microsoft services in the phone. The third party services installed will help the users to control the hardware components as well, enabling a greater platform for innovations and possibilities.

Various manufacturers like LG, Dell and Samsung have developed Smartphones, which will use the advanced features of the Windows Phone. The touch technology is introduced in the latest version that offers a great interface experience. Recently, Nokia has partnered with Windows to create advanced mobile devices using the potential of this operating system. Such an expansion of the system ensures that there is end-user compatibility with different mobile devices from some of the leading manufacturers in the world.

2011 Windows phone incorporates all the basic features in order to create a comprehensive mobile device. Apart from the innovative Metro language, the system has introduced multimedia messaging and advanced text input service. The Internet Explorer is now revamped for the mobile version. Overall, the reviews are mostly positive and ever since its inception, the product has won several prizes.
